How can we help?
COntact Us
Clear Image Technologies is a company focused on affordable, reliable solutions for the direct mail industry. With over 28 years experience in direct mail, we understand that each mailers needs are different and that one large, complex system is more than many companies need. Our goal to provide user-friendly, scalable, inserting alternatives.
In 2007, Clear Image Technologies developed the Picture Perfect Match System for companies doing match mailings by hand or hand checking the mailing off the end of their inserter. Until then, the only other option was high-end optical character recognition systems. This visual match system, retrofitted to a customers existing inserter, displays images of the mail components on a monitor to allow the operator to visually inspect to ensure match integrity. This provided a low cost, semi automated system to companies with medium volume match mailings.
In 2009, after many customer requests to stop the inserter in the event of a mismatch, we added the ability to upgrade to optical character recognition. Using the same cameras from the basic system, we could now decode the images to look for names and sequence numbers to match on and data recording of each piece processed.
Now we also offer the ability to read and decode 2D (Data Matrix) and IMB barcodes. This data can be used to check against a sequence number or save a file for verification that the mail piece was processed.
By partnering with equipment dealers like Tri-State Mailing Equipment in New York, Peak Business Equipment in St. Louis, Mailing Equipment Company in Ft. Worth, DeBourke Company in Boston, Cowart-Gagnon in Seattle, and Creative Mailing Solutions in Toronto, we’ve been able to provide sales, service and support to the Midwest, East Coast and Canada.
Clear Image Technologies was founded in St. Louis, MO in 2007 by Larry Miyasaka. Larry started in a presort bureau in Milwaukee in 1982 and has held technical, production and managerial positions direct mail houses and mailing equipment service companies. Seeing the need for a product that didn’t exist, and having an education in programming and a background in mailing, Larry developed the Picture Perfect Match System to create the first step in assisting companies to streamline their match mailing capabilities. Always up for new challenges, he listened as customers asked for more features and developed additional functionality to the basic system.
